Dave Nowling

Dave retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City – Denver Branch, where he worked over 30 years as an examiner, manager and leader in the Supervision & Risk Management Division. He is highly respected in the banking industry for his leadership, credibility, fairness and knowledge of the industry. Dave is highly recognized for his abilities to coach, empower and motivate team members. He has extensive training in organizational development and effectiveness.

Clients describe Dave as energetic, enthusiastic, intuitive, dynamic and passionate about helping others. He is keenly adept at applying what he has learned in supervising banks through two recessions to other industries and business practices.

Dave received his graduate degree from the University of Denver and completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado. Dave is on the faculty at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, where he has taught organizational culture and leading organizational change for 16 years. He also serves as the Leadership Chair for the Executive Development Institute and is a faculty member and executive coach.

Robert Slade

Robert has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of organizational development, executive coaching and management development training. Prior to forming RB Slade & Associates, LLC in 2005, Robert worked at the executive level in human resources administration for corporations such as Hewlett-Packard, New Belgium Brewing Company, and Poudre Valley Health Systems.

Robert received his graduate degree from the University of Denver and completed his undergraduate education at Colorado State University. He is on the faculty of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, where he teaches during the two-week summer residency program. RB Slade & Associates LLC was instrumental in helping the Graduate School of Banking in the design of the Executive Development Institute (EDI), a program offered to executive levels of banking. He continues to serve as an executive coach and faculty member at EDI.

Debbie Meyers

Debbie Meyers is retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City – Denver Branch after serving nearly 35 years in various capacities including the Reserve Bank’s discount window operations, regulatory applications, and finally as the supervising officer over the Examinations and Inspections Department. In this latter position, she was responsible for the bank supervision function for the western zone of the Tenth District, providing oversight for state member banks and holding companies. Her tenure covered two significant industry downturns, and during the most recent, Debbie actively participated in resolving several significant problem bank situations. She currently offers her expertise through consulting in the areas of risk management, personnel and succession management, strategic and tactical planning, efficiency studies, and other issues of industry concern. She serves on the boards of three community banks, and is a certified coach in Social & Emotional Intelligence. She is an executive coach and provides coaching to individuals in the Executive Development Institute at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. She received her B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
